Step it Up Rochester
Rochester, NY
April 14, 2007 02:00PM to 04:00PM
Event Description:Come on out, Rochester! Let's show Congress how committed we are to demanding legislation that greatly reduces carbon emissions.
Some signs will be available for those who need them (first come, first served!), a street theater group will perform, and costumes are welcome! Also, Rochester's own Raging Grannies will be performing, as well as some young Irish dancers. Brighton Town Supervisor Sandra Frankel will address the crowd, as will NY State Senator Joe Robach. And, rumor has it that a polar bear may show up to play with the kids and publicize his plight.
Though we expect a good turnout, we need YOU. Please come and show your commitment to the largest challenge facing our world today.
