Event Description:Stand and Face Climate Change!
Burlington, home of the National Step It Up headaquarters, will host one of the best actions in the country! A morning of service projects in the afternoon, followed by an evening rally featuring Senator Bernie Sanders, live music, poetry, and freebies and discounts around town if you have a Step It Up hand stamp!

Afternoon Service Projects:
12:00 pm - Discussion with VEIC/BED, Deb Sachs (10% Challenge) and VPIRG about global climate change, energy efficiency and politics.
Location: Canopy at Union Station ? end of main street
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Disperse into group service projects
Evening Rally:
5 PM - Waterfront Parking Lot by Echo Center - Hear Senator Bernie Sanders speak about his bill before Congress to cut carbon 80% by 2050.We will have local organizations tabling with information on how to cut your carbon footprint; there will be live music, and more!
5:30 PM - Be in the photo to send the message to Congress
PLUS: Live Music and Poetry!
7PM: There will be a reception to follow starting at 7pm at Studio STK with food, drink, and eco-inspired art.
