AK Climate Commission Hearings

Event Description:
Alaska Climate Impact Assessment Commission Anchorage Public Hearings April 12: 6-8pm and April 13: 1- 3pm The public is invited to testify on how climate change is impacting Alaskans. Last year the Alaska Legislature established the Commission, which has been tasked with holding public hearings across the state to assess how climate change will affect the citizens, resources, economy and assets of Alaska. The Commission needs to know that Alaskans care about this issue and want the Commission to do something about it!

Directions:
Please come prepared to let the Commission know why you are concerned about global warming and what you think the State of Alaska should do to address it. You can also just come to show your support without testifying. We need numbers.
