Event Description:

River Rat Climate Cantastorias and Puppets are the Center's contingent in Athol's annual River Rat parade that accompanies the canoe and kayak races of the same name. Over the years community members have made giant puppets of local species for the parade. In addition to these puppets, folks have made climate cantastorias, sets of images about climate change up close and personal. The images will be hung on clothes lines and displayed in the parade. We'll begin setting up at 8 a.m. The parade will start at 9:30 and will finish around 10:30.

Millers River Environmental Center 100 Main Street

Directions:
We'll set up on School Street, near the FORMER middle school, around 8:30, in Athol on April 14. The starting point is not far up the hill from the Y.
