Baltimore for the Draught
Baltimore, MD
April 13, 2007 12:00PM to April 15, 2007 02:00AM
Event Description:Baltimore Supports the Draught! Save the world while drinking beer! This is the start of a much larger campaign that will promote political change through social discourse, starting with better waste management through Baltimore City. On Saturday April 14, 2p.m. at No Way Jose Bar in Federal Hill. Our goal is to be social and spread the good word of stepitup2007.org as well as discussing our mission statement. There will be banners, pictures, and beer. We want everyone to cut down on waste by only drinking draught beer, NO BOTTLED BEER. We ask that you bring your own mug and make a t-shirt that states “Baltimore for the Draught”. Talk to people, take pictures of people with beer mugs and spread the message. You can either meet with us, or do this on your own with friends throught out the day. After a hearty day of beer, e-mail me your story and pictures. They will be posted on an official Baltimore for the Draught website. The overall goal for the day: reduce waste while having fun and reminding individuals that little things matter and that people collectively or individually can make a difference without making significant sacrifices. Please, get everyone involved, be as out going as possible.
Questions, information, concerns, or you just want to be more involved, or bar hop with us then contact Tom Moore.

If you are going to participate in anyway this sat, even if that means just drinking beer, this is what I need from you. Email me your name and what you are doing; I need a contact sheet of willing people for future drinking and organized events. For people wanting to be more active, talk to people in the streets and in the bars of Baltimore. Convince them to buy draught beer and if you can take pictures of groups drinking draught beer. I want to see lots of people and lots of mugs. The pictures can be on your party and or of new people that you talked to. I will be collecting these pictures to use for other parts of this project. And for those feeling really ambitious, collect e-mail or contact information of people who support the cause. Be sure to e-mail any contact list you gather. Thank you.
