Where: Maritime Heritage Park (behind the old courthouse museum)

- Dana Brandt, Ecotech Energy Systems
- Alex Ramel, COB Environmental Resources and Mark Asmundson, former Mayor of Bellingham and current Director of the Northwest Clean Air Agency

How:
You can join as at the park or many participants will walk through the street of Bellingham with a group from one our three locations:
- Elizabeth Park (group leaves at noon)
- The Public Market parking lot (group leaves at noon)
- Fairhaven Middle School (group leaves at 11 a.m.)
Visual:
Many participants will wear red, which symbolizes both a warning and the warming of our planet
Why:
Global warming is a serious threat and now is the time for action. People everywhere are deeply concerned about the environmental, social and economic costs of climate change, but this will be the first time we come together as a united front to provide a new, powerful voice in the nation. To Congress, the message is specific ?cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050." For the American people, it's about raising awareness and encouraging people to make some simple but important lifestyle changes today.
