Together, We Can Slow Global Warming

Clemson, SC

April 14, 2007 01:00PM to 02:00PM

Hosted by Leslie Grady Jr.

Event Description:

The School of the Environment at Clemson University is partnering with Students for Environmental Awareness, Engineers Without Borders, Focus the Nation, and the Green Sanctuary Committee of UUFC to sponsor a rally on the campus. Our goal is to have people of all ages, from small children to grandparents, participate in forming the letters CO2 with a downward pointing arrow through them. We will photograph the formation from above. We will have 4 short speeches and petitions to sign. Entertainment will be provided by the band Swift Robinson.

Location:
Clemson University campus on the plaza between the Cooper Library and Strom Thurmond Institute.
Directions:
The rally location is near parking lots across from Hendrix Center, beside Brooks Center, and behind Lee Hall. Parking meters are enforced 24/7. Because the event is on Saturday it is OK to park in any parking space unless there are specific prohibitions posted.
