Event Description:

We'll meet at the Chase Bank Courtyard on Front Street (across from Horizon Books) at 1:30pm and start our event with a rally. Our local Congressmen have been invited to speak. We’ll have an information table with handouts on everyday ways to conserve, preserve and cut emissions, along with info on upcoming Earth Day events.

We'll then hand out 80 energy-efficient light bulbs to downtown TC patrons.

At 3:00 or so we'll start our parade down Front Street (via sidewalks) and end up along the Parkway where we'll stand for an hour or so. Bring banners, signs, puppets, friends, kids, dogs and neighbors!!

We'll end the day with drinks and a potluck dinner at 5pm at the home of one of our members, on beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay. Star gazing on the beach after dark!

Chase Bank Courtyard is across from Horizon Books on Front Street, downtown TC. Parking is available along Front Street, in the parking lot behind the bank, off Park Street, and in the parking lot off Grandview Parkway behind Horizon Books.
