ALSO CONSIDER REROUTING YOUR PROTEST SIGNS, TAKE YOUR OWN DIGITAL CAMERAS AND RECORD YOUR MESSAGE WITH YOUR SIGNS AT THE EMERYVILLE PUBLIC MARKET PHOTOSHOOT, ORGANISED BY THE FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH IN BERKELEY. AND SIGN UP BELOW TO STAY INFORMED FOR OUR NEXT EL CERRITO/ALBANY/RICHMOND ACTION:
Tell congress what to do. Bring your sign and be in a group photoshoot (and videoblogging!) BIG PICTURE 10 AM at Point Isabel (approx 6ft above sea level) and be in a (large, hopefully) group photograph full of our signs with the Golden Gate Bridge behind us.

Bring your own sign or you can write an eraserboard one here, I'll bring some too: we want to tell Congress to cut carbon 80% by 2050.

Bring your dog, for a great walk for a worthy cause. The more beings - 2 legged and 4 legged - there are to "carry" signs, the more signs we will have! And if you are not walking a dog, that's fine too.
We plan to make an ongoing photo record that includes everyone with their signs, and post the virtual march online here at Step It Up.
I believe Al Gore will be testifying before the Senate again and will bring our pictures with him. (Were you one of the 519,000 he brought with him to testify before the Senate?) We CAN pressure Congress to act decisively with the tough legislation needed.
We must get through to the Senate because our majority is not enough to pass this otherwise, there are bills that are just window dressing.
If you are a Republican, please bring signs that pressure your side of the aisle, because only 13% of Senate Republicans believe their constituents give a damn. Prove them wrong!
They are about to blunder worse than on Iraq! They say global warming is just a "cause du jour" or "a hoax", and won't pass legislation till we convince them otherwise.
