We met at the New Bedford Whaling Museum which is a Historical National Park site and listned to speeches by the New Bedford Mayor, Umass Dartmouth Provost and local organizations spokespeople about the actions they are taking to curb Global Warming and what they all need to do to improve. We then broke out into groups; stood on street sides waving banners and canvassed downtown New Bedford with Step it Up Action steps for residents and businesses.
A rally held at the New Bedford Whaling Museum which is a Historic National Park. People listened to local leaders talk about the plans they have to Step it Up.
Step it Up Southcoast, New Bedford moved into the streets and these to local High Schoolers helped to spread the word
Step it Up Southcoast held at the New Bedford Whaling musem and two children clinging to hope.
