More than a thousand D.C. residents stood in front of the nation's capitol calling on Congress to Step It Up! We had a diversity of speakers including leaders in the student climate movement and the broader environmental movement. We also had renowned aerial photographer John Quigley there to take a photo of the crowd--who were organized to give Congress the message of "80% by 2050"! The human postcard photo will soon follow, but for now we've got a few photos from the event!

We made a human post card spelling out 80% by 2050.

Creating the human postcard was a lot of fun! I am a captain of John Edwards One Corps in Baltimore, so I also enjoyed meeting others from John Edwards One Corps chapters in the DC area who attended the event.

The family/friends at Joanne and Andrew's wedding weekend took time out to hold posters proclaiming "Andrew and Joanne's wedding party says Step It Up Congress, Reduce c02's by 80% in 2050!

3 generations of my family joined the DC event to tell Congress to step it up! It was great to be a part of such a spirited group.
