In small town, Milford NH over 400 people came to Town Hall to participate in our ?Step It Up Day of Environmental Education?.
Thirty tables of information on ways to ?green? our lives were hosted by environmental organizations, ?green? businesses, local farmers markets, csa?s, garden clubs?.
In addition, the public was treated to live music from several bands, several speakers including the reading of a letter from our congressman, discounted CFL light bulbs, free cloth shopping totes, free tree saplings, delicious baked items, and face painting fun.
Students for Sustainability Coalition and Peace Jam organized a sizable high school student turnout where again music, discussion and fair-trade coffee were the order of the day.
