150 of us gathered to hear Rep. Melissa Bean, IL-8th, share her commitment to climate change legislation. State Sen. Pamela Althoff and the legislative liaison for State Rep. Jack Franks spoke as well. All three joined us for our picture asking Congress to "Step It Up". We enjoyed folk music, wrote letters to legislators, and created a paper (reused!) chain of personal commitments.

People met at 7am at our Cary Grove Interact meeting and took the Step It Up picture. This is actually separate from the McHenry County Steps It Up. This was at Cary Grove High School.
