We congregated at the outdoor Chi Omega Greek Theater on the University of Arkansas Campus. After a few announcements and thank yous, co-organizer Ryan Denham gave a short speech about the importance of action and that this is only the beginning for us. After that I was interviewed by a local ABC news affiliate 40/29. Also, the entire event was documented and photographed by "The Traveler," which is the campus newspaper. After the orientation and sign in at the Greek Theater, we marched down Dickson street(which is a local business road in town lined with dozens of bars, restaurants, and stores) to College Avenue to stand at a major city intersection. We stayed there over 45 minutes and from there we marched 1 1/2 miles to the college football stadium which was having an all day festival to commemorate the annual red/white game. We stopped at several intersections on the way taking 15-30 minutes each to show our message to passing cars. When we arrived at the game, the officials wouldn't let us inside so we stood at the intersection next to the stadium for close to 30 minutes. After that many people had previous engagements so we disbanded.
