We gathered on the shores of the Hudson to form a "Blue Line" symbolizing the storm surges threatening our waterfront. We were joined by the Dobbs Ferry Marine Patrol demonstrating water safety, and speakers and tabling from the Sierra Club, Urban Divers, Concerned Families of Westchester. Irvington Deputy Mayor Nicola Coddington spoke about what we can do as individuals and in our local communities. Dobbs Ferry Mayor Joe Bova and Trustee Larry Dengler welcomed the crowd. County Legislator Tom Abinanti promised support.
