the day began with juice sales at the farmers market (procedes going to carbon emissions offsets). the festivities continued in fort greene park with a messy and colorful banner decorating project, wonderful music, and inspiring speakers. throughout the day materials and resources were distrubuted that steered people in the direction of a sustainable earth-friendly lifestyle. CREATIVITY and COMMUNITY were the markers of the event. it was great!!

We had a beautiful day in Fort Greene Park. We helped to inform the neighborhood about global warming and sustainability. We also planted our seeds for an event next year.

It was a blast. I was so lucky to be surrounded with such wonderful people.
