We gathered for our photo and a teach-in at the Thousand Oaks Library. We had two great speakers, Dr. David Lea of UCSB on "Global Warming, Science & Society" Dr. Lea has been studying Global Warming for 20 years and has done shared research with James Hansen and William Carter former Chief, Environmental Crimes Section, U.S. Attorney's Office.
This was a very successful event!

We had a rally and meeting at the Thousand Oaks Library. After our photo, we heard from climate-change scientist Professor David Lea of UCSB and environmental lawyer and former environmental crimes prosecutor William Carter. A representative of Congressman Brad Sherman also addressed the group and Congressman Henry Waxman, author of the Safe Climate Act, sent a letter of support that was read.
