In two days, we gathered 247 signatures on the Step It Up/Sierra Club petition to be a part of the 2% solution. We were at a public library, and we had people by all 6 hours of the event. We had three rooms - showing The Lorax, An Inconvenient Truth, Kilowatt Ours, Rising Waters, and the Sierra Club power point called Smart Energy Solutions, as well as other videos. We had coloring pages of desert animals and plants. and we had great conversations with the kids who were there. Now, we're off to see the Senators and the Congress people!
