At 12:30, Tufts students and faculty began to gather on the residential quad for- Tufts! Step it up! The event got going with a performance by Tufts' student percussion group the BEATS. Senior Eric Misbach delivered an amazing speech, inspired by Bill McKibben, urging Tufts students to take action on an issue which affects us all. While he spoke of students' commitment to political action on climate change, we snapped our photo at 1pm. We wrapped the day up with a rockin' performance by Tufts Band, the House of Representatives.
THIS House of Representatives steps it up; the one in DC can too!
The BEATs, Beat on Everything At Tufts!, perform at Step it Up! Beat on that Congress!
