The event was well attended. I'm new to the town so I apologize for any misinformation. I haven't seen a Bradford posting yet, so that is why I've uploaded my pictures.
The group proudly displayed a banner and signs made by Bradford students. The event coordinator spoke of the historical significance the Step It Up event would have if our efforts continued beyond April 14. Those who also spoke were the head of the Bradford Environmental Coalition as well as the towns house rep. A poem written for the event was read by its author while the group stood in allegiance to her sentiment. All of this took place on the lawn of Bradford Academy.
The group was then going to parade through the center of town to the falls to take another photo. There were also hikes planned. My 14mo. old daughter Charlotte and I had to part from the group before the parade. Charlotte had enough and by then had shed both her mittens and her shoes. Thus, my report ends here.

We met at Bradford Academy for a talk by our town rep Sarah Copeland Hanzas about what our state is doing about global warming. A poem was written and read for the occasion by Sheila Kaplow. Then we walked down Main Street carrying the banner and signs made by the Oxbow HS Environmental Coalition to the Bradford Falls. From there a bus took those who wished to hike up to Wright's Mountain. A wonderful day!
