I had a terrific response from people in the crowd who stopped at the working solar hot water demonstration.
So many people think of "solar" as only solar electric that when they find out that you can heat your showers and your house and your pool they are really intrigued.

The best thing about our event was that it was organized by a group of 10 year olds! Seeing their enthusaism and optimism was very inspiring and gives us hope that they will change our world for us, one kid at a time!

We had a poetry reading with some local food and a baby goat. It was an event to foster community connections as well as raise awareness about global warming.

A very good showing of people showed up early in the morning to remove buffelgrass, an invasive species. I had a banner viewable from the road underneath where we were working. We removed 287 bags of invasive weeds.
