It was a nice day. Mayor Rocky Anderson gave several great speaches regarding global warming. I have included one of them and chose not to edit it down. Everything he saidneeds to be heard. All of the entertainement was good and Los Lobos ended the day with a great concert.

Families from Littleton and Acton, Massachusetts gathered at Faye Park in Littleton for activities, popcorn and a walk in the woods. We had a Recycling Relay Race, decorated our banner with markers and recycled fabric and, of course, the bubbles were a big hit!

4/23/07 Now it's a week later. Local cable tv covered the event for the entire 2 hours, and they will play it again and again, further educating people about climate change and its dangers.

A number of booths...people wandered in as the day went on....a lot of good information was shared! I especially liked the hands-on one from the DEP (Department of Environmental Protection.
