About 25 of us gathered on lake Ave. at the 210 freeway in Pasadena on Thursday, April 12, 2007 during rush hour traffic (from 5 pm - 7 pm) and held a banner that read: Step it Up Congress...Cut Carbon 80% by 2050. The title of our event was End Global Warming, End the War. ...

We gathered together at Town Hall and each person was asked to talk about what they held dear in the natural world, and what they would do to save the planet. We all sang, and then chanting "Step It Up" walked to Uncle Tim's Bridge.

About kids from the high school, elementary schools and adults rallied at the most popular intersection on our island. We waved signs and got the support of passing cars. There was lots of info on what people can do to reduce CO2 emissions.
It was a great success!

Although the turn out was small we got a lot of attention from drivers on the street! We had a good time, maybe next year we'll have more attendees!

We gatherered at Coffees of Hawai?i in Kualapuu, Molokai, to educate ourselves about the consequences of Global Warming. We sang Hawaiian music and danced Hula. We expressed our concerns and carried away ideas and hope.

We had a poetry reading with some local food and a baby goat. It was an event to foster community connections as well as raise awareness about global warming.

A dedicated group of greater Gig Harbor area boaters and friends gathered at Jerisich Dock in Gig Harbor, south Puget Sound to have their say. Sunshine, signs and enthusiasm were met by interested bystanders. Passing on the message really "floated our boats" today!
