Event Description:
Come to San Francisco's StepItUp event (map) and help us defend the few
blue
skies our beautiful Foggy City has to offer. November 3rd will be a day of
art, activity, and action. So join in and let's Step It Up! San Francisco
style. With your participation, this will be a day of change! Let our voices
be heard, and let's keep those blue skies smiling back at us.
Local and state politicians are invited to share their commitment to climate
action with the crowd, who will mainly be distracted with the following
activities:
Blue it Up! -
Show how you want those skies both clean & blue by donning your funky &
fly blue threads.
Maybe blue body paint?
Bike it
Up! -
Come to Dolores Park at high noon and pimp your
ride. Bike to the UN Plaza, with an entourage of electric & bio-based
cars in tow. Show how much fun non-petro transport can be! Continue tossing out
fossil fuels at the Conscious Carnival - Step Right Up!
Art
it Up! - Join the Recycle That! Art installation by showcasing your
reclaimed or natural art at UN Plaza. Babies to burners… all are encouraged!
Step it Up! - Come be the change! Join us in this day of action and let's make
San Francisco and California the political leaders in demanding action to stop
Climate Change. What do we want?
