Event Description:
Students from Tulane University, the Alliance for Affordable Energy, the Gulf Restoration Network, and the Sierra Club are organizing a second line parade through the city to promote climate awareness and energy conservation. The rally begins at 2pm at the ArtEgg buiding in Central City. Then, we'll start parading to the Superdome at 3:45. Come parade through town with Da Truth Brass Band and the Camel Toe Steppers and join the clean energy movement! Check back for more information.

By bicycle from downtown: ride up Canal Street, take a left onto the bikepath on
Jefferson Davis Parkway, ride up and over the interstate on the protected
bikepath, take a left on Euphrosine (between the old Goodwill and the old Coca
Cola plant) and continue straight down Euphrosine till just before the overpass,
the ArtEgg is on your right.
