Event Description:
My hope is to gather as many environmentally sensitive and proactive members of the Fordham University student community as possible on November 3 to join a larger network of activists at a rally point in New York City, perhaps Union Square. I plan on offering a brief, informal presentation on the four point plan being fought for at present while the group is gathering, and maybe compile some site links in order for students to research their own environmental concerns. Through adverising and word of mouth, I hope to open the eyes of a small handful to ways that we, even at the lowly college level, can make important contributions toward contending for cleaner energy and a demonstration of environmental awareness amongst our bureacratic leaders.
