Step It Up Bloomington!

November 3, 2007 11:00AM to 06:00PM
The following politician(s) attended this event:
 | Rep. Baron Hill |
Event Description:
So you've changed your lightbulbs, adjusted your thermostat, and cut down on your driving. Maybe you've even nudged your neighbor or your inlaws to do the same. But still the ice caps are melting at astonishing rates, and every day there's more in the news about the signs and consequences of global warming. What do we REALLY have to do to turn this situation around?
Our November 3 gathering will be all about figuring that out.
Our event kicks off at 11:00 in the gymnasium of Harmony School. We'll have concurrent workshops and discussions all day, with a break for a Rally at 2pm. Here's the schedule:
11:00 - 11:15 Kick off
11:15 - 12:15 Global Warming 101 (Vic Kelson: the Climate Project, County Council)
Beyond Lightbulbs: What do we REALLY need to change? (Alex Jarvis: Solar Systems of Indiana; Buff Brown: BTOP)
