The guest speaker, Robert Craymer – furniture designer, manufacturer, living space designer and retailer has been featured in numerous magazines and TV shows such as HGTV, The New York Times and Town & Country. Craymer has been commissioned to exclusively design the VIP rooms for the Oscar, Golden Globes, and Sundance Film Festival. He was asked to bring his green designs to LIVE-EARTH. Only a few people were invited to get their message heard on this world-wide event, Robert the honor of being one of them. This year, inspired by Bill McDonough, a pioneer in the all-green building community, Craymer is founding the first “Cradle to Cradle” program for recycling old furniture to create refurbished all-green furniture, taking existing pieces back to their bare elements and redesigning them in the all-green method. Craymer is committed to bringing to the public an all green, all natural, sustainable and organic way of living.
