Act Dingell online petition

18 Oct 22:24

Before you come to Step It Up to show in-person support for climate action, sign the petition to Congressman John Dingell, Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee, encouraging him to be the leader we need on global warming legislation. Take 2 minutes and go to www.actdingell.com - once 1,000 signatures are on it, it'll be printed and delivered to Congressman Dingell's office.

Step It Up volunteers still needed!

23 Oct 16:12

The event here in Ann Arbor still needs a lot of volunteers to be
successful from flyering this week to running an action station at the
event itself - the bigger the turnout, the stronger the message to Congress.

If you have even just one hour this week or next to volunteer, it'll
make a difference! All volunteer meetings are at the Wesley Foundation,
602 E. Huron (at State St.)
Snacks provided.

In the next week:

Wednesday 10/24, 6:30-8:30pm - Volunteer mtg to make signs, a large
banner, large props, sign up to help run grassroots action stations at
the event, pick up flyers to post in your neighborhood

Thursday 10/25, 6:30-8:30pm - Phonebank #1 to invite community members
to attend Step It Up - bring your cell phone!

Sunday 10/28, 6-7:30pm - Phonebank #2 to invite community members to
attend Step It Up - bring your cell phone!

Tuesday 10/30, 6:30 - 8:30 - Finish up visuals, final phonebank, action
station run-throughs.

See you there - thanks for all you do!
