Upton, its Time for Real Climate Solutions

Kalamazoo, MI

November 3, 2007 01:00PM to 03:00PM

Hosted by Justin Trezza

Event Description:
Together we'll be marching onto Bronson Park and demand that Congress take action NOW on global warming and support green jobs. At 1 pm a group will be meeting at the flag poles on WMU's campus (near the Wesley Foundation). Around 1:15/1:30 we'll begin our march to downtown's Bronson Park where we will rendezvous with others and transform the park into a mini wind farm. Let's turn Bronson Park into a mini wind farm and educate our politicians that renewable is sexy and fossil fuels are ancient history. We'll be making pinwheels and stationing them throughout the park and sharing with the public the wind potential of our wonderful state.
