Event Description:
IowaGlobalWarming.org, Iowa City Area Group of the Sierra Club, Iowa Renewable Energy Association(I-Renew), UI-Renew (it's student chapter at the University of Iowa) and the University of Iowa Environmental Coalition present a Step It Up event "Who's A Leader on Global Warming Issues?" Eastern Iowa area elected officials are invited to speak about what they are doing at the city, county, state and federal level to address Global Warming. Iowa City city councilor Regenia Bailey, Johnson County supervisor Terrence Neuzil and state senator Joe Bolkom are confirmed. Representatives of Gov. Culver, Congressman Loebsack will attend. Representatives of presidential candidates Richardson, Dodd and Obama will also speak on their candidates behalf.
