Event Description:
Choose carbon reducing transportation options. Experience public transportation and ride with ACTR. Join Addison County's Step It Up participants at 12:45p at Merchants Row/ Diner side to take the free ACTR Snow Bowl Shuttle bus to beautiful Ripton. Experience Spirit in Nature Trails or Robert Frost Trails (see related event in Ripton). The bus will leave at 1:00p from the front of Steve's Park Diner. Spend time reflecting on nature's wonder and some reasons why we fight global warming. We will be dropped off at Spirit In Nature trails at 1:20p and then get picked up at 2:50p to return to downtown Middlebury by 3:15p to toast local leaders in climate action on the Town Green. (In event of bad weather, go to St. Steven's Church basement.) If this time doesn't work for you, you can ride the Snow Bowl Shuttle anytime between 10:25a and 4:35p. Thanks for becoming more carbon neutral. Note: Middlebury College students can catch the Snow Bowl Shuttle in front of Ross circle at 12:55p. It will take you to Merchants Row where you can join others.
