Event Description:
We'll have a "Giant Yardstick" on the beach and scary maps to show our elected officials how predicted sea level rise would effect Ventura County.
Please feel free to make your own signs, posters and banners, but we'll also provide signs for you to wave. We'll have lots of informational handouts about what YOU can do, and of course green paint for your finger :-)
County Supervisors, Steve Bennett, John Flynn and possibly others, will be attending as well as Carol Miller, the mayor of Ojai. We're also expecting ornithologists and bird experts.

Directions:
Meet on the beach at Harbor Cove, across from Channel Islands National Park
Visitor Center in Vantura Harbor.
From the north, get off of the 101 at Seaward, turn left onto Harbor Bl. Follow
Harbor Bl to Spinnaker Dr, turn right, go all the way to the end turn around and
park in the first lot on your right.
From the south, get off of the 101 at Victoria Av. Turn left on Victoria and go
to Olivas Park Dr and turn right. Olivas Park will turn into Spinnaker when you
reach the Harbor. Drive all the way to the end turn around and park in the first
lot on your right.
