Event Description:
We will meet at the historic Cape Cod Light in North Truro, which was visited and written about by H.D. Thoreau, the great naturalist and advocate of political action against injustice and for the environment. People will assemble in the video room of the lighthouse on Saturday Nov. 3 at 4 PM. Local leaders will be invited to tell what they are doing to cope with the climate change crisis. The lighthouse personnel will supply refreshments. Please carpool if possible and bring your own mug.

Directions:
Traveling north on Route 6, the Highland Lighthouse area is 3.3 miles north of Truro Center. Take the "Cape Cod Light/Highland Road" exit. Turn right onto Highland Road, then right at its end and very soon --second left-- on Highland Light road, and follow to the Lighthouse parking area. There is handicapped parking at the lighthouse itself.
