Event Description:
Sunrise Vigil at Coast Guard Beach. Meet at 7:00 a.m. Here is your chance to watch the sunrise the latest hour of the year. Come with Peace flags, Nature banners, Step it up Signs, Aubades, and Dawn prayers. We will stand where our great naturalist Henry David Thoreau stood and read or say a few prayers.Then we will take a short walk up the beach in the footsteps of Mr. Thoreau. If anyone knows a Praise Dawn song please come and sing it for us.

Directions:
Approximate address listed above. Come over the Sagamore Bridge onto Rt. 6. Come down Rt. 6 into Eastham and turn right at the second traffic light in Eastham. Turn right onto Nauset Rd at the entrance to the National Seashore, the National Seashore Visitor's Center until you see the ocean. Turn into the Coast Guard Station Parking Lot and park. Come down the walkway onto the beach and look at least one Peace Flag.
