Event Description:
The Hightstown Environmental Commission and the Hightstown Clean and Green Team will be hosting the second town cleanup of 2007 on Saturday, November 3rd, from 10am – 12 noon. This event is aimed at making our community more visually appealing, environmentally friendly, and inviting for everyone. In the spirit of acting locally and thinking globally, this event is part of “Step It Up!” – a nationwide movement on November 3rd aimed at raising our collective voice to demand federal leadership on global warming. If you are interested in joining us, please meet in the municipal parking lot adjacent to Theo’s Tavern @ 10am. Coffee, juice and trash bags will be provided, but please bring a pair of gloves. Bring the whole family and help us make Hightstown Cleaner and Greener!!! Raindate: Sunday, November 4th, from 10am – 12 noon.
