Event Description:
DUE TO RAIN WE WILL NOT BE TAILGATING. INSTEAD, PLEASE JOIN US AT THE MURKLAND COURTYARD (OR INSIDE OF MURKLAND HALL IF THE RAIN IS HARD ENOUGH) FROM 2-4! Please join us for the Step it Up of the Seacoast Region hosted at the University of New Hampshire in Durham! We'll start the day off at 10:00 tailgating on bicycles and foot at the football game! Get your voices ready for parading and getting people excited for Step it Up. This is the perfect opportunity to get a larger community informed about and involved with Step it Up! Following tailgating, we'll head over to the football game (UNH vs. Northeastern) for some major visibility. Hopefully we'll be able to take the Step it Up picture in the stands! Picture it: UNH Steps it up, hundreds of fans waving their green fingers in the air! From 2-4 we will be having the Step it Up event itself in the Murkland Courtyard (between the Dimond Library, Thompson Hall, and Murkland Hall on the main quad). Here you'll find tables of various student and community organizations. Local farmers, music, food, speakers, and hopefully a presidential candidate! Make a healing blanket, and learn about the dangers coal mining and plants. New Hampshire is the first in the nation primary, so we have the obligation to spread the word! All eyes are on us right now, so let's join together and tell the world to STEP IT UP!
