Event Description:
On Thursday, November 1st, two bands, The Ginger Ninjas and SHAKE YOUR PEACE!, will launch the epic "Pleasant Revolution Bicycle Music Tour" from N.San Juan, California, heading 5000 miles all the way down to the Mexican Yucatan. There will be no sag-wagons, and no buses hauling our gear. Everything, including the 800 Watt human- and solar-powered PA System, will be hauled entirely on bicycle! We will be riding into Auburn on Nov. 3 to help you rock out and Step It Up in a totally human-powered rock n roll show. That's right, our sound system runs on your leg power. Directions:
From Hwy 80, get off on Elm St. Go south towards old town Auburn. Turn Left on Hollis/Hwy 49. Go up a block or two, and then turn left on Lincoln Way. The SOC is just one building up on your left.
