Event Description:
Join us for the STEP IT UP EASTHAMPTON! People Powered Parade. We will begin at 2:00 at the Maple Elementary School with a short, gas-free, people-powered parade of bikers, joggers, strollers. etc. We’ll end at the Manhan Cafe for refreshments, entertainment and information. Come for the kid-friendly silk-screening (and bring your tee-shirts). Come see local filmmaker Ted White’s celebration of bike culture, Return of the Scorcher. Come for the cheap energy-efficient light bulbs. Come write postcards to send to our legislators. Come for the great coffee. Come for the camaraderie and inspiration. Come help us to push for leadership in addressing global warming NOW!
