Event Description:
FIRST Lego League competition. Robots constructed of Legos by middle school students must strategically pick and place lego models to create a sustainable community. Both sportsmanship and knowledge of environment and infrastructure will be demonstrated during each 2 minute match. This is an annual event in which thousands of teams across the country compete. For this years' environmentally-themed challenge, Our own event called Mindstorm Mayhem will feature 30 Lego League teams and exhibit environmentally friendly technologies including solar panels, geothermal heating & cooling, and alternatively fueled vehicles.
