Great Rally!
There was about 75-100 people. Three politicians:
Jean Shaheen, Rep. Paul Hodes and Jay Buckey. They all said the rights things!! Also a great local band! The rain probably reduced attendance; however, we will do better next time!! There was two media photographers- hopefully we will get a story in the Nashua Telegraph!! My son Alexander age 5 was the one and only child and I think his picture may appear in a local news story. Keep the faith and see you at the next rally!!
Many thanks to everyone at Step It Up for arranging the rally!!

It poured rain and we had gail winds, yet still we had a decent turn out!! Jeanne Shaheen and Jay Buckley who are both running for US Senate spoke on what they plan to do in the Senate on a National level to help take steps towards improving global warming if they get elected. Paul Hodes, NH Congressman spoke about some of the initatives that he has been trying to push through the House. Suzanne Harvey our State Representative was there to speak on what she is trying to do on a state level. Both canadates for Major of Nashua, Donnalee Lozeau and Jim Tollner added their views on the importance of recognizing Climate as a Hear and Now crisis that needs to be addressed on every level, including the local government.
Melodeego, a Rock and Soul band from Boston played several motivating songs, the best of which was "1 Sky" which had everyone clapping and dancing and getting into the spirit of doing something now, before it is too late!!!
Inspite of the rain and wind, the message came across loud and clear!! It's time for everyone to STEP IT UP!!!!
At the end of the Rally these were the die hards who stood for the 2 hours in the rain to hear all of the speakers for the STEP IT UP Day in Nashua, NH!!!!
