Our attendance was better than expected, it was diverse and fully committed to the cause. We started out with a cold cloudy day and it proceeded to a driving rain day. Even though Connecticut got cool today our attendance was hot. Roger Smith of the Connecticut Climate Coalition spoke on how it is not as hard as you may think to make a difference. Following his speech attendees participated in an open forum discussion (which lasted over 90 minutes), where every person brought a different view. On the whole Cool Down Connecticut went well and we look forward to organizing future successful events. We owe a big thank you to Trinity Episcopal Church who let us have inside Space!
