We had a great time! We displayed art works of 45 artists, about half were enviro-focussed. Cash awards were presented to enviro categories and general categories. We had a tasty reception for the artists. AND we taught kids to make bookmarks and to paint on rocks--all for the environment.
Art for All and Slow Global Warming of Elgin presented the Gail Borden Public Library with a Leadership certificate for their premier facility and its works in educating all of us year-round. They also host our monthly meetings for Slow Global Warming.
We had almost 100 art works from elementary and Middle school students upon the walls in addition and our 18' Slow Global Warming banner over it!
Nest year it will be similar--Paint Your World Greener! The exhibit of kids and adult art will continue for 2 months.
