Everyone arrived at the village park with the High School Jazz band playing. Food appeared from wonderful sources: local apples and bread, homemade stew, pumpkin pies. We announced the goals, colored our green fingers and made notes of what to protect by working for climate action. Everyone ate, listened to fantastic music, discussed issues, exchanged addresses and enjoyed the last leaves in the park.
