Despite the cold we had a pretty good crowd...about 80 people came total, with about 30 to 40 there at any given time. The speakers were great, and we got more than fifty signatures on each petition- one for the 2% solution and one for no new coal to send to our Congressmen. We heard from our local representative about the Regional Greenhosue Gas Initiative, and we teamed up with the Sierra Club to give everyone a compact flourescent energy saving lightbulb.

Here are some more photos

Granny D walked across the country at the age of 90 for campsign finance reform. Nov 3rd, at the age of 97, she stood outside with us in the cold and spoke to us about the need for urgent change in our political system.
