Over 30 people came out to Woodstock High School to ask Representative Melissa Bean to Step It Up for good global warming solutions!
Attendees heard a presentation from Greenpeace Project Hot Seat Organizer Kate Ogden, who spoke about the importance of moving beyond individual action, to making sure that our voices are heard in Congress.
After the brief presentations, attendees took action! We wrote letters and made phone calls to Rep. Bean's office, penned letters to local papers, made photo postcards, recorded a video message, and got folks registered to vote!
It was a great day, and lots of folks signed up to take part in upcoming Project Hot Seat events! Woodstock is a true hot bed of activism for global warming solutions!
