Walking with fish to emphasize Maryland's vulnerable coastline to sea level rise, we marched chanting through the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. We finished at the Maryland Science Center to show how we are asking for science-based reductions of at least 20% by 2020, and 80% by 2050.

Folks met near a major bookstore in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. We showed off our fish to each other and the passersby. At noon, we walked (in pairs so as not to obstruct other pedestrian traffic) around the Inner Harbor to the Science Center on the other side. There we had a photo op with a local news station, and several of the group gave short speeches. During the walk we chanted "keep Maryland above water," "let's stop global warming now," and "what do we want . . . global warming solutions . . . when do we want it . . . now." Then a number of the group met for some lunch and discussion in one of the harbor's pavilions.
