we had over one hundred folks show up and declare with their upheld green fingers what they are voting to protect, from birds to water, species diversity, to children and life itself.
we had State rep Jeff Merkley who is running for senate show up and tell us what oregon is doing to stepitup and what congress needs to do to meet the one sky priorities.
Our group was filled with families, babes in arms, grandparents and teenagers, very inspiring and heart warming event!

I did not physically attend the Ashland, OR event near me, but am pleased to report that at least 2 TV stations stations serving the Medford, OR area gave lengthy reports on their evening newscasts.

I was proud to join other Ashlanders raising our green fingers to the sky as a signal to our govt officials to stepitup. It was a beautiful day. I wrote the word "bodies" on my hand because I want to protect all the interconnected bodies of life that are being affected by climate change. Thanks to Cat for organizing this event. I think it was brillant to have a short focused event. May this energetic response at the "grass roots" continue to grow.
