Lexington residents joined about 75 area residents at the Minuteman Park in Concord. Sen. John Kerry, Rep Niki Tsongas, Rep. Will Brownsberger, Rep Jim Marzilli and Sen Pam Resor and others all spoke passionately about the need to address global warming locally and on the national and state level. We were rained on pretty hard and it was windy and cold, but it was an enthusiastic crowd. Thanks to the rally organizers, Roger and Susan Shamel for their efforts. It was an experience to remember!

Senator Kerry and Niki Tsongas were there. So were Pam Resor (our local representative in the MA State House). I got a chance to chat with Ms. Tsongas to thank her for coming out on such a rainy day and for her support of effectively addressing global warming.
