The weather here did not cooperate for the event. It was in the 40's, breezy, with light rain. Many candidates sent proxies to speak. Made you really respect those that did make the effort to appear on a dismal day.

Despite the cold we had a pretty good crowd...about 80 people came total, with about 30 to 40 there at any given time. The speakers were great, and we got more than fifty signatures on each petition- one for the 2% solution and one for no new coal to send to our Congressmen. ...
